Figured it out. I need 3 macros total. /target player. /target party 1. /target party 2. The first macro will target me at the top of the party (with sortgroup addon) the second macro will target the second party member in the middle. the third macro will target the last party member. This works great for 2's, 3's, and solo shuffle. “Would really love a button that keeps the position of your name in party/raid frames at the bottom especially with solo shuffle rated coming out. This is why SortGroup broke in DF, then the script broke in 10.1.5 (until someone found a new script), and now FrameSort as well. It would be nice if there was an official/supported method that addon devs could leverage, but it seems Blizzard couldn't care less about addons as almost every damn patch everything breaks.

Pretty sure Addons like GladiusEx or sArena can display target of the arena enemy, I think you can activate those and place them somewhere you can see who is targeted. You can add priorities from 1-6 (all items in the guild bank start at 3.5 by default) so items with priority 1 will always be sorted first and items with priority 6 will always be sorted last. Im planning to create two separate macros for party 1 and party 2 just to avoid overcomplicating the macro. For the baseline spell I use whatever comes out of the spell book since it casts on me by default (heals, walls, freedom, etc), unless theres a benefit to creating an @player macro that I’m missing.
