Intake Grid Heater light. Have a 2002 7.3 F-350. Just started having the intake heater light stay on while driving it all the time also noticed a small amount of white smoke on start up. I've read that it shouldnt be on because I'm driving, above 32* F, BLAH BLAH. Wondered if I deleted it would that fix the light or is it a relay problem.

8 posts · Joined 2008. #1 · Jan 4, 2009. I have tested the relays (solenoids) now trying to test the actual grid heater just need to know how many ohms resistance should the element have. I know there is power to the heater just need to test the heater to make sure it is working correctly. Thanks for your time.
