I have a 2009 Malibu 1LT that all of a sudden is experiencing a volume problem when it comes to the key-in-ignition warning. Nothing else seems to be off; my stereo goes up to normal volume, so I'm not quite sure what's going on. Has anyone else experienced this or have knowledge in this matter? Door hinge area wiring is more apt to be a wire broken inside the insulation area. Since tweeters work I would look at door speakers and door accordion wiring first.
