Legal study abroad programs
Study abroad programs have a $100 non-refundable application fee while international internships have a $250 nonrefundable application fee. Priority is given to students in good judicial standing with a GPA of 2.5 or higher (3.0 for international internships). Exceptions may be granted upon appeal.*It is recommended that you begin to plan for your study abroad program six months to one-year in advance (this includes applying for your passport and visa documents). Step 1 - Select a Study Abroad Program. Upon completion of the first year, each law student in good standing is eligible to study abroad.

The Law School offers international study opportunities at some of the world's leading centers of legal scholarship, divided into three categories: semester abroad, Global Alliance, and international dual degree programs. The online application for these programs is open each year from February 1 to March 1 .Eligibility NYU Law Abroad is designed primarily for third year NYU Law students; exceptions for second year students will be considered on a case-by-case basis, with permission of the Vice Dean and the faculty program directors.
