Moving averages change depending on time frame of chart. For example, for VTI, if I look at a 3Y-W time frame, the 100-day SMA is 163.77. If I change it to 1Y-D, the 100-day SMA is 193.9. I have asked them about this and they have assumed me that their routing is some of the fasted out there. I really believe Direct Access Routing is a marketing gimmick certain brokers use to attracted naive day traders.
