Great triggers, IME. I have a few, zero issues. Nice improvement over milspec type triggers, eliminates the gritty pull, just don't expect a match trigger. Tan spring = ~6.0 lb pull weight. My PA-15 features their 16″ Gen 2 Mid-Length PSA upper, chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 1:7 twist and 13.5″ lightweight M-LOK handguard. The upper has nicely tight tolerances and was clearly well-machined, with no burrs or unfinished edges that people were encountering with the first Gen series.

Both are improvements over standard Manganese Phosphate triggers. Both are susceptible to heat discoloration, but does not affect performance. Nickel Boron (NiB) has a higher potential hardness range. Nickel Teflon has a lower friction coefficient but could be more prone to wear. I have an NiB trigger and hammer.

The EPT trigger breaks clean and resets crisp. I think they have a winner that gives you a solution between Mil-Spec, and a break-the-bank drop-in trigger . The only other 2-stage that even compares (IMO) is Mark's trigger. It's a great trigger with the heavier spring installed. Kinda lacks the crisp feel I like with the light spring, but the heavier spring just sharpens it up all the way around. And for $99, they are a great deal.
