The pigman sword ability didn't do a lot of damage by itself. However, if you spammed it, you could stack multiple abilities that led to you doing like 200k /second per person. just further nerf the damage lmao. cooldown is such a grabage way to fix this. Even just the mana req was enough.

From personal experience you don't need to grind zealots to progress, but it'll definitely be slower, even if you are not going to grind aotd, pigman sword is not a viable option anyway, since it'll take a decent amount of time to get it and you don't need a pig minion setup for anything important.
