Terraria this house is corrupted.

There is a solution to this, a green one in factPlease help me. If you’ve got corruption near the house I’d check on that first. If there’s just enough to make the house invalid, it won’t say “this housing is corrupted” so you can’t count on that not being the reason. If the house is built in purity, but when you took a few steps out the door the biome changes to corrupt, the game will sometimes just give the blanket "this is not valid housing"

Simple put: Once too many corrupted blocks (Ebonstone, Corrupt Grass etc.) are near the housing, the house will become corrupted and invalid for an NPC. Simply purify the area or build a house away from the corrupted area while it suits the other requirement for it to become suitable.

Sadly, no NPCs will live in any corrupted house. Is there a mod/fix that allows NPCs to live in the Corruption? You can always build a base in there and transport the NPC's into it using teleporters/statues. I don't really play on journey but thank you for the info! There's a program called tedit which allows you to edit your world view the whole map place blocks and other stuff you can also remove the corruption/crimson with it. #6.On the plus side, yes. Mushroom grass doesn't get corrupted, though mud near the corruption (or crimson) will still turn to dirt. On the minus side, spreading it in any useful way is a royal pain.
