I feel guilty running through all the enemies lol, that was the same thing in Bloodborne with bosses like Laurence. Feels cheese-y. But all the enemies whittle away at your health and in Sekiro ATM I can use my gourd a whole 3 times and my vitality has only been upgraded once, I'm very early in the game still.

I dislike this idea that Sekiro is a rhythm game. Rhythm games are Guitar Hero, Dance Dance revolution, Parapa the Rapper, or david cage games, where the button prompts are always in the same order and the key to winning can be boiled down to simply memorizing the pattern. But there is no pattern to memorize in Sekiro.

14 is max without the mask, and that's a good attack power. If you have any plans to get the platinum then I will recommend against using the mask. The most time consuming trophy is the one to get all skills. The last skill points without using the mask cost 80k xp each. You can beat ISS with attack power 14.

It’s still the same kind of approach though, like yes there’s a lot of different moves and combinations but the approach is still “get in their face, be aggressive, and don’t let up until you break posture” whereas dark souls has magic, big slow heavy strength weapons, quick nimble dex weapons, parrying, just blocking, rolling etc which is a lot more varied as far as approach goes.I would definitely buy Sekiro. I found his stage in the final fight harder than the following Isshin phases, and still kept dying to him even once I could get through Isshin's first two phases undamaged.Back off, use whistle.
