LAWRENCE — The Big Event at KU will stage a day of community engagement and service later this month, and University of Kansas students, faculty and staff are encouraged to volunteer. The Big Event will run from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 21, with volunteers meeting at the Burge Union before dispersing to job sites. Volunteer at the Jaydoc Free Clinic.
