It's good for raids, dks, and pking off the top of my head. Imbued berserker ring is always basically just as good if not better though. That +1 extra melee damage over everything else is quite valuable. I prefer to use it almost everywhere unless I'm using a crush attack weapon. In that case I prefer the B ring (i).
