This isn't the right way to use the heater. The heater should be manually pre-set always to be on at highest temperature. Then the automation, well, automatically turns the heater on and off via the fireman's switch.Pretty common problem. Couple things to try: reset everything. Move protocol adapter and antenna farther away from other items like routers--supposed to be 4' but that's difficult. Jul 10, 2018 · Adding this here in case anyone runs into the same issue. I found that my old ip range was 192.168.0.x but the new router automatically set the range to 10.x.x.x. After changing this, the Screenlogic started working again. So much for it clearing out its old settings and picking up a new ip address which is what the Pentair tech said should happen.
