I predict the Staccato XC and Sandhawks will take over carry optics in IDPA. They could probably mod the artemis by cutting in a comp into the island signed section. That being said I am in the same boat and just plan on getting an athena because I can run it as an IDPA esp gun, carry optics, and uspsa limit optics without buying 3 guns.

The Prodigy retails for around $1,200 and and optics ready Staccato P is $2,500. So almost double the price. To me it's not worth it for DLC and tool steel internals.
