It was about $258 worth of merchandise. They put a pre-authorization hold on my Dasher direct card. If it was a regular Visa card it would work just as a normal Visa debit card. Not that I expect anyone to have an answer to this but I don't see any advantage to this for drivers that use it. I only started using it to get some cash fast but will move to FastPay in a week or so when I am eligible. Archived post.
