I took straight to an onan service center. Had them change fluids and load test it. They claimed to have run it for 3 hours on a load bank and it checked out fine.Use clean, fresh No. 2 diesel fuel (ASTM 2-D) when the outdoor ambient temperature is above freezing, and No. 1 diesel fuel (ASTM 1-D) when below freez-ing. The fuel should have a Cetane number of at least 45 for reliable starting.
