I thought it'd be fine to spend since it'll just stay negative (aka overdraft) until the deposited fund is available, so within 1 week. However, just called and found out that the transaction was returned altogether, costing me a $25 returned check fee (not to Credit Karma but to the merchant I spent my money on).
