The battery was dead last Saturday so I hooked it up to the charger. Two hours later, the needle barely moved. I took the battery to Autozone.I have a GT5000 with the 26 HP Briggs & Stratton motor, particularly when the motor is cold it will crank about one turn about 6 to 12 times before starting. It doesn't happen as much after the engine is warm, this problem started a couple of months ago. I don't use the tractor as much as I used to since I got a JD 737 zero turn to cut the grass.
