Since the link level update, so many units have taken a breath of new life, namely the majin buu units, but only certain links are really worth the level 10. Personally, if a unit doesn't have big bad bosses or gain ki from having a link at 10 like the lineage links I won't grind the unit all the way up, usually stopping around 6 or 7.
