The absolute BEST way, would be to find a way to run cat6 Ethernet from the router, to a switch in the office/bedroom area. Then connect your PC's to other ports on the switch. If you have wifi-only devices you need to use (phones, tablets) then add a standalone access point as well (it would also connect to the switch) in that area.
