I'm curious if it's possible to easily change parts between the Leap V2 and Amia chairs. I saw a joke in a BTOD.TV YouTube video about adding the seat of the Amia to a Leap V2 frame, but they didn't elaborate on if it was a straight up replacement or if any modding was required. The Amia has a similar seat pad to the Leap, which some people think is too thin. That gets compounded by being a used chair, which probably has some compression from being sat in for years. You'd probably be better off removing the fabric and adding additional foam on top or bottom of the original pad than trying to replace the entire pad. We actually tooled a new seat pad (same high end molded foam, made to the same specs, just +3/4" thicker than the original) as the original for our remanufactured Leap chairs.

These specs are similar to what Crandall and Steelcase offers with the leap seat cushion (I think) however the foam type is different as Crandall and Steelcase use molded urathane foam.The Amia's lumbar support is very "soft". I like a more aggressive lumbar personally. The seat of the Amia is at least pretty decent and ages well.
