I have taken four different shotguns to Argentina in the last two years. The 20 gauge Nova is the only one that functioned flawlessy and it and came home in shooting condition. It went through about 2400 rounds in four days and got really hot repeatedly and still functioned.The Nova would just be plain silly looking hunting upland birds, but the main reason I don't like it is becuase it is made out of almost entire plastic and the forearm is cut wierd and it feels wierd in your hands. Really the only pro I see about this gun is that it is chambered for 3 1/2 inch magnum, but you don't need that so it's useless to you.I have both a Nova and a 500. The 500 is a very stout gun, the stock plastic grips do have a little wobble but the wood upgrade is solid. I do love my Nova though, the only down sides to me are the safely and action release are awkward compared to the 500 and the foregrip on the Nova feels super light weight and cheap.Can't go wrong with either but I chose the Benelli super nova tactical without the pistol grip stock. I like that you can shoot 2 3/4", 3" and 3 1/2" shells (so virtually any 12 gauge shell you can find), the comfort tech stock imo works at reducing recoil and I like that you can unchamber a round by depressing the button under the fore-end I added a …
