ZEN357. 236 posts · Joined 2018. #7 · Jun 4, 2019 (Edited) Yes, the lower intake will need replaced. I bought the aluminum elbows seperately at Advance Auto Parts. I bought my upper and lower off eBay, it included the Dorman gaskets and the EGR tube. The EGR valve I bought seperately as well.

Just get a GenV gasket and you will see what you need to open up. I think there is one other hole in the L32 LIM, but doesn't effect use or performance. I'm going to change out the LIM gaskets on my 3800, and I was wondering what difference between unpinned, and pinned gaskets were? I know felpro sells both, but I didn't want to buy anything until I made sure what the difference was. Get new fuel injector o-rings for your injectors.(high sodium-slight potassium elevation) This evening, I tore down the upper I/M and retorqued the LIM. Bolts 1-2-3-4 all were under torqued. I had checked to see that all bolts were at 11 ft lbs and discovered those were loose. They were then torqed to 11ft lbs.
