End result, the sensors in the back needed to be replaced. It hasn't happened since. 2016 Outback 3.6R + Eyesight + Nav + Moon Roof.The dealer reset the code and explained that it takes 3 full running cycles to automatically reset. (engine all the way cold to warmed up x3). The easy way to turn RAB back on is to place the car in reverse (stepping on the brake and holding the pedal down so you don't roll), and look at the infotainment screen.
