After reassembling a pair of P365's with Boresite modules, this slide won't go back on the frame. It stops short when hitting g this part of the FCU, which is raised up higher than on my other two FCU's ( which sit just below the frame rails). There's spring tension on it and I can push it down a bit, but the slide won't past it. Any ideas?

The takedown lever has to compress the recoil spring, and hopefully that is causing the slide lock lever to bind. other than that, good luck YouTubing. 2.

(3) the recoil spring assembly isn’t properly aligned.Upon reassembly, if you pull the trigger on the lower half, you will see the safety lever come up. Push it flat down if you have to, per the Owner's Manual. Otherwise, the slide won't go past that point. The P365 is better than many of similar pocket sized pistols for general take down and reassembly.

If it is push it down, make sure you are pushing the take down lever towards front of gun while pushing up on slide release. P365 XL dead trigger and stuck takedown lever. As the title states my p365 XL has a dead trigger and a stuck takedown lever. I was at the range and made it through about 5 rounds before the trigger went dead. The gun was unfired before this point. No amount of racking the slide will engage the trigger. I attempted to remove the slide there but ... It is now stuck at 7/5 o'clock. The slide sits about 1/8" from the back end of the frame, but racks ok and can be locked back with the release/catch. Also, can't get the slide off of the frame, now. Can't insert a mag, can't pull trigger fully. Oddly, if the lever in the 7 o'clock position and I pull the trigger, the lever rotates to 5 o'clock.Keep holding down while you reassemble. The hook end of the takedown lever should wrap around the bottom point of the sear. Hold the takedown lever in while putting the fcu back in.This is a very common issue caused by fiddling with the FCU and leaving one of several candidate pieces out of position. More often than not the Takedown Safety Lever is the culprit. It could also be the slide catch lever spring, but first you need to get the slide off to tell. Most often it is the striker hanging on the sear. Try not just swinging the take down lever but actually putting pressure on it past the 7 o'clock and holding that while you pull the slide forward and off. This will pull the sear down and let the slide come off. Sig Classic Line Armorer. Reply.
