I have the same issue, the LR4 reports cycle interrupted. I found that if the litter level is below the max line, like an inch of space showing, I have less issues. I was thinking it was a weight issue, I placed the LR4 in some cardboard to disable the weight sensors, but the problem still existed. Just got my litter robot and I to am having this issue. It's just blinking red and green. Couldn't get the pairing yellow light to start blinking while holding the wifi button for 3 secs but the app let me continue and set up anyways.
