I mainly do Dex/Faith build for all the souls games, but Dark Souls is admittedly a littIe limited in this area. You will mostly be using buffs since the offensive miracles either don't do enough damage, or require too much to make them work. Faith just needs to go to 30 so you can use lightning blade and/or Darkmoon Blade, dex 40 of course.

Unique build if you wanted to have fun by maximizing damage output: IMO Dex/Faith is the most viable in DS1 b/c of the way scaling works in the other games. You don’t gimp your character in DS1 by doing this.
