Tripod mode seems to be improved. On the first shot Gen 2 called for a 2 second exposure while Gen 1 called for 3 seconds. The results are pretty similar. The one of my partner and his bike it was a huge difference. Gen 2 wanted 23 seconds and produced a very good exposure while Gen 1 wanted the whole hour.
