I have bought jars and bags from midwest grow kits as well, with my spores from Ralphsters and seriosuly had some kick butt results! I am now making my own jars but for my first time, it made me successful.. The holes were also a bit off, but that was really non-issue for me.

Do not purchase any goods from Midwest Grow Kits. Purchased a simple grow kit, everything arrived as described on 11/23. Jars were inoculated 11/25. Now, three and a half weeks later only a single jar has spawned and the rest show no signs of growth. On the contrary, the other 5 jars are observably drying out on the bottom and top.
