Dell 4 amber 1 white.
For a couple of weeks now as soon as the all-in-one is plugged in the power lights flash 3 times Amber and 1 time white. PC still starts up and occasionally taken to a blue screen and the system date seems to be wrong, but this is not every time.

As per your question 3 Amber(orange) and 1 White indicates that it is hardware component failure. Most of the computer will have the same hardware component with the blinking pattern. S. Take out charger, then battery, and hold down power button for 20 seconds, insert battery, then charger and make sure charger is plugged into main power supply and not extension cord plug etc. If that doesn't help, then battery has died, and will need to be replaced.
